A-Z Solomon's Compass Style: Quirky

Welcome A-Z bloggers!
And everyone else, of course :)
My A-Z posts are all about my new book, SOLOMON'S COMPASS.
Read the A post to learn who AJ is.

Time for a small change. This is Carol!

And I'm calling Q Day Quirky because I'm going to share with you my top ten favorite non-spoiler lines from the first part of SOLOMON'S COMPASS:

10. "Don't call me Kelly Jane." Her words came through clenched teeth.

  9. "I learned early how to get myself into and out of places. Nothing is designed for those of us who are vertically challenged."

  8. A times, the da**ed  Solomon Honor System sucked.

  7. "Talk to me, Uncle Randy. Coastie to Coastie. I'm listening."

  6. "Born and bred. Lotsa bread." She laughed and patted her stomach.

  5. "She's listing like a drunk whore. What'd you do, run into a buoy?"

  4. "I thought you didn't remember me." Shut up, Taylor.

  3. He wagged a finger. "No frou-frou."

  2. He could say with absolute certainty it was not the photograph Taylor had in mind.

And my #1 favorite non-spoiler line from the first part of SOLOMON'S COMPASS:

  1. She craved his touch, his skin against hers. If they hadn't been standing in the street, she would've ripped off his shirt.

That last one is what every man wishes his woman was thinking!
And I bet running into a buoy hurts.

Most enjoyable, having had to catch up with the beginning,

Yvonne.

Wow! That last one was one steamy thought. Great non-spoiler lines.

I've been hunting for your blog; each time I'd end up at Google+ and it told me you weren't sharing anything with me because I didn't have you in a circle. Huh? I do have you in my circles. Anyway, I finally got here. Sheesh.

I am partial to #4. I do a lot of talking to myself in my head after I have said something out loud, so I can totally relate. Hahahaha.

I absolutely have to start reading this book soon. Love all of the lines! :)

Elizabeth - Cool. Wanna guess who said it?

Diane - I know that really well myself.

LR - That one came totally out of the blue when I was writing the scene on the first draft. made it all the way through without getting changed.

Lee - I went over there and saw you weren't in my writer circle. Fixed that - LOL. I think Google's messing with me. I don't participate much there.

Michael - Glad you liked all those :)

Tantalizing little peeks into the book! :)

Number 5 is my favorite, hands down.

Cynthia - Yes, humor like this is woven into all my books. My weird sense of humor makes it impossible to sustain a serious thriller for very long. I always see the funny side :)

Laura - I'm trying!

Helena - Cool :)
