Notice Anything Different?
UPDATE: I'm making adjustments as I read your comments. So you may see more changes throughout the day - maybe the week. Thank you!
SECOND UPDATE: I have tried everything I know to get the banner to appear on the screen for everyone. This Blogger template is titled SOHO and the particular template is the last one on the right. If any of you tech wizards can tell me how to fix it, the whopping $5 Amazon gift card is yours. For the first correct answer only. Thank you.
I hope you spot a new thing or two. Otherwise I did all this work for nothing ๐
Look around. All the pages (look up here๊) are new.
Let me know if you find any goofs (likely). If there are enough, I'll do a drawing for a free Kindle book or $5 Amazon gift card. Don't be shy!
Tell me what you like the best about the new look. Don't tell me if you hate it, LOL.
I'm actually sad to see the beach banner go, so don't be surprised if it comes back at some point with a new Coastal standalone novel.
But I've already wiped my tears, and I'm ready to move forward.
The new banner is a photo of a portion of the San Antonio River Walk. Most of you know this is where I live. Not actually on the River Walk, but in San Antonio.
San Antonio is also the setting for my new trilogy. I've worked on this for a long time. As. You. Know. When it was finished, I found a fantastic editor, and we got busy.
So without further ado....
A law enforcement consultant whose special skill is putting random pieces together discovers she has psychic ability, but she never knows when this new aptitude will appear. Or how it will affect her.
The consultant is Gracie Hofner, a thirty-two year old former San Antonio Police Department detective. The consultancy that employs her is called The Bastion Group.
Gracie is the youngest of five, with one sister and three brothers. She's dedicated and persistent. She's also a little klutzy.
As you may have inferred from the graphic, this trilogy is one continuing story. It flows from the first book to the second and concludes in the third.
Each book is complete in and of itself, but the overall story will be much more satisfying if it's read in order.
I hope you'll help me spread the word, both now and when each book is released. More about all that when it's time for the first book. Soon.
Very soon.
So soon, in fact, that my first plea for help is with a cover reveal in July. Any time at all during July will be most gratefully appreciated. If you participate, I will send you the details the last week of June. If you need them sooner, just let me know.
If you would like to participate in the cover reveal for the first Amazing Gracie book, say so in a comment or email me at my email carolkilgoreauthor @ gmail.com or at the blog email tikihuttime @ gmail.com
I'll also appreciate if you can tell me the date you will post the cover so I can be sure to drop by and comment.

I'll have to look at your site overall to see the header. That's the only thing about this new look that's a bummer - one only sees the text of the post.
And sure, feel free to sign me up for your cover reveal - you can get me at kyralennon (at) gmail.com! <3
I see now that they are picking up the first image of the post, but it's confusing.
Congratulations on the trilogy! I can help with a cover reveal on July 3rd or July 10th. After that I won't be around until August.
Kyra - Great seeing you here! Thanks for offering to participate in the cover reveal. Will email you later today.
H.R. - I fixed the problem of the images following this post. This is something I knew how to do! I don't know how to adjust the size of the images that appear there, but I'll keep trying to figure it out. Somewhere there's an adjustment, I'm sure. Or not, LOL :)
Bish - Did you not see the graphic for the trilogy inside the post either? I don't really know why some don't see the the banner, but I'm assuming it's to do with the method used to read the posts, since they begin on the first page and finish all together on another. You probably just see the full post page and miss all the upfront goodies.
I'll be in touch later today by email about the cover reveal. Thank you!
Love,
Janie
Like others I had to move to the 'home' tab to see your new banner, but like it. Lots.
The new banner is awesome too - fun and eye catching - nicely done! :)
Mac - Thanks!
Janie - Glad you like :)
Diane - Thank you.
EC - I hope I can figure out how to fix that, but this is a template, so I'm guessing it's a fixed thing. I keep searching for something that sounds like it would work, but so far I haven't found it.
Mason - I love the River Walk, too. Great about the cover reveal - thanks :)
Murees - Wonderful! Thank you. Will email you about a date.
Jan - Glad you like the new me :) Love clean and minimal. You'll have to let me know if any of your Graces were like my Gracie!
Congrats and great job all the way around. I'm excited for you!
Julie
Julie F - Thanks so much for participating in the cover reveal. I'll email you in a bit. I'm excited, too :)
Crystal - We do have great fireworks!
Julie P - Thank you! Still working on that darn banner.
Happy to help with the cover reveal too.
Lynda - Thanks. I like that about it, too. If someone shares the answer with me, I'll give them all the credit right here on the blog.
Maybe it's something with your template's html codes?
Your blog looks awesome, and you're doing a terrific job with your newsletter, too. I can't wait to read those new books of yours!
have a super weekend.
Lee - I have not checked into a forum. But I will do that tonight or tomorrow. Thanks!
Fabulous header!
Once I clicked on the post title, the header disappeared.
Sorry but I can't help with techno thinggies...
Can we also tweet or post on Facebook for the cover reveal?
I wish I'd thought to include that in my post.
I really dig the new design. Very clean. Very professional. Basically everything we're not (that's how you know you're doing it right).
The blog looks great! :)

Congrats on the new series. Sounds awesome.
I'd be happy to help with the cover reveal. Any Monday in July or if there is a specific day, that's okay too.
It's been ages.... LOVE the banner... I see it right off! Obviously you fixed all the glitches. Really like the sophisticated and new clean lines.
At some point I need to update my blog. I am just so fond of it, but It can certainly use a belated SPRING CLEANING...
CONGRATS on the trilogy. ALL the best!
