Hi, there. Jake Solomon.

I hear Carol's been building me up as a sexy scoundrel.

While I'm not the one to ask about the sexy part, I can tell you she got the scoundrel right.

I'm a former SEAL Team Commander. Sorry, but I can't share details about my duties.

Since retiring from the Navy after twenty years of service, I work for my dad's security company, Compass Points International  - CPI. Much of the time, being an active duty SEAL was easier. 

My first day in Rock Harbor is a little fuzzy. I was a little fuzzy. I'd been awake for more than 24 hours and flown as non-stop as possible from Finland to Texas.

But I had to get it together in a hurry. I'm damn good at that. I come from a world where the mission is to get it done.

Carol said I should tell you one thing about my time in Rock Harbor that won't give away any secrets.

I knew right away what I'd tell you. I think Carol probably knew, too. The most important thing that happened in Rock Harbor is that I met Taylor Campbell.
