Luckenbach, Texas
Over the weekend we drove to Luckenbach with a group of friends.
It's a large place.
Silent.
No place to dance as the day wears on.
No place for writers to wait for an answer to submissions.
Just a town - like any other.
Only in Texas!

Is that a real post office? WOW! Is this town for real? I guess I've been living in metropolitan areas for too long ;)
Claudia - The town is for real, but it's probably the tiniest one in Texas. The post office used to be for real - now it's a gift shop.
Karen - Willie Nelson
Laura - I think Armadillo is #3 :)

Elspeth - My pleasure :)
Four-car garage and still hangin' on in Normal!!!!!
LOL.

Alex - It's the only one of its kind around here, too, although lots of tiny Texas towns have dancehalls.
Talli - In real life it does, too, except the buildings ARE old, not just made to look that way.
Patti - No Waylon. No Willie. Lotsa boys, though....

Jane - Definitely not a city, but real. Definitely fun.
Arlee - Sorry you missed the food in F'bg. Lots of little German towns in Texas.
Words Crafter - Join the club!
Only in Texas.
Jayne - The armadillo probably had the most to say :) Glad you enjoyed the photos.
Elana - You're welcome :)
Nicole - Thanks.
I keep hearing this song in my head about Luckenbach, TX. Now I'm going to have to go to YouTube & hear it. Thanks!
