Since I'm busy working on getting the next House Witches book out, I'm going to do another Top 10-ish list. Hey... at least the subject matter is different :)

This one is about waiting and/or procrastinating. How many of these do you do? What is your favorite way to procrastinate?

There are some healthy and/or beneficial things:

  • walking
  • working out
  • yoga
  • gardening
  • loading/unloading the dishwasher
  • laundry

I could go on, but you get the idea.

Then there are relaxing things:

  • listening to music
  • reading
  • watching TV or a movie
  • puzzles of all kinds
  • video games
  • chatting with friends in person or text or phone

And so on.

Then there are the soul-care things:

  • coffee
  • tea
  • ice cream
  • smoothies
  • chocolate
  • pastries
  • bacon

Ahhhh... :)

Are you hungry yet? Want to goof off all day? If so I did my job.

See y'all next month.

Bacon!
Pass on laundry and the dishwasher though.
I'm not much of a procrastinator BUT I am easily distracted. I love cleaning, watching movies and eating (not cooking). And please keep me off the internet or I will fall down an internet rabbit hole. Thankfully, I LOVE writing.

My garden won't let me procrastinate on it.
I think I do all the healthy/beneficial things. I'm not so good on the relaxing things! And I'm pretty bad on the soul-care things. I've got stuff to work on!
I am so glad (selfishly) that you are writing up a storm.
Procrastinating? Oh yes. Reading is one of my biggies. And gardening. And tumbling down internet rabbit holes.

Put bacon at the top of that last list and we're in sync! All the rest is perfect!

I like your list. They're all good things to do and some of them can help you stay healthy. I wouldn't feel guilty procrastinating doing those things.

And good luck getting your new book out.

I tend to read and play the piano - but now I want ice cream!!!

Alex - Yes!

Teresa - Oh yes, the dreaded rabbit holes.

Diane - Gardens are like that. Very unforgiving :)

Elizabeth - I have plenty of things to work on too.

EC - I think you were born to garden.

C.Lee - Bacon, Bacon! It's a winner for sure.

Natalie - I don't want to talk about the guilt, LOL :)

Jemi - It's definitely ice cream weather here.

Besides yoga, I do all the beneficial things. I love relaxing when able. Soul care is a must. I finished my raspberry swirl ice cream an hour ago... Take Care.
I want bacon now... But yeah, most of those things are good for the creative soul, especially exercise and friends.

Cathrina - Yummy! Now I'm wondering if I could get away with ice cream for breakfast :)

Lynda - I agree. Maybe I could crumble bacon on top of ice cream :)
