I'm so excited!
Why am I so excited?
Because I'm writing again and living my live as normally - which is pretty oxymoronish for how my life is - as possible. And it feels so good!
My family is good. My doggie is good. Our home is good, even if messy, and we finally have fresh paint on the walls. It was amazing when that new layer of color went on. I no longer felt as if I were living in someone else's house. All that old, stale energy was sealed off. Our home is now filled with sunshine, laughter, and all good things.
Even when the storms threatened. Two. Back to back. I will probably never name a character Laura or Marco unless I plan to do unspeakable things to them. My heart goes out to all who were in their paths #2020 for sure 😖
On to a happier subject, I'm writing everything! Pardon the exclamation marks, but I am excited about all of this.
Gracie is moving along at a fast clip. I'm thrilled about that. I should finish the first draft of her current adventure before much longer. Then the real work begins. This thrills me so much because it means I am more or less on track - not my original track, mind you, but the track that has had to be adjusted twice due to real life events.
Being on track is wonderful for keeping me going. Don't want to fall off and have to readjust again unless absolutely necessary.
Happy pics of the month:
Gorgeous bouquet from Husband. I 💓 him to the moon and back.
Shiner stealing my spot on the sofa. I love his little attitude-filled self, too.
Wine Wednesday. 19 Crimes is always appropriate. 'Nuf said :)
See you back here on Wednesday, October 7. October! It's hard to believe fall is truly just around the corner.
Hugs!
Carol

Teresa
Shiner is a cutie
I would HAVE to buy a wine with that label too.
Alex - As normal as it ever gets around here.
Teresa - Oh yes! Just like that. Shiner wants to know if you'll come rub his ears :)
Diane - I'm so grateful the hurricane missed us. Those in Laura's path won't soon forget her.
Jemi - Gracie was getting pretty impatient with me :) Shiner is cute, but he is also stubborn, opinionated, and spoiled. I wouldn't trade him for anything though ♥
Natalie - Thank you! Now if we could just get rid of this nasty covid thing.
EC - Yay!!! Their cabernet is especially good.
Lynda - In a good way, I hope, and not like covid....
Jo-Anne - For me, too :)
Denise - I was so surprised by how different our entire house felt with just the change in color. We've painted before, not here though, but this is the first time I've ever felt a change like I did here. It made a good thing even better.
Murees - The wine awaits :)
Shiner looks like he has a lot of personality, ha! :)
