On the Road Again

Happy July!

Summer is supposed to be relaxed and lazy, right? Fun in the sun, reading in a shady hammock?

Maybe, but not for us this year. It seemed appropriate to steal Willie Nelson's title since he's all about Texas and it appears we are, too. Plus, we're moving.

From San Antonio...

100 Springtree Clf, Cibolo, TX 78108

...to Houston...

19715 Sternwood Manor Dr, Spring, TX 77379

Not Houston exactly - that city is HUGE, both population-wise and space-wise. We're moving to a town/community on the far, far northwest side of the city. Our address won't even be Houston.

Our house here sold in only a few days, and we'll be closing next week. We won't close on our new house until later in the month. This time last month, we were getting ready to put our house on the market and had no idea things would move this fast.

As you can imagine, we are beyond busy.

Add to this craziness that all three Gracie books will be on sale for 99 cents each from July 29-August 4. Could I have set this up at a worse time? I certainly wouldn't have chosen these dates had I known our house would sell so quickly.

I won't be visiting your blogs or responding to any comments this month, but I hope you'll leave a note here so I know what's happening in your world.

My plan is to be back here on Wednesday, August 7, with an update, but I most likely won't be visiting or responding then either.

If you want to follow along with what's happening, just find me on Facebook and make the journey with us.

Love all of you! See you on Facebook and/or back here on Wednesday, August 7.

Is it near Pearland? That's where one of my best friends moved to last year.

Thanks, Alex!

Diane - Pearland is south. We'll be northwest. That distance is probably 50-60 miles. So about an hour without major traffic.
Busy, busy, busy.
I hope the move goes smoothly and well and that your new home is everything you could hope for. And more.
And that your books sell in droves.

I am so happy for you that the house sold quickly and easily and that you have found another one to move into. Oddly enough, the one in San Antonio looks surprisingly similar to ours! Thinking of you every day! Take care.
Moving house is so full on and exhausting

WOW! You are busy. Good luck with the move and getting everything done. Moving can be crazy and when your house sells super fast it adds a whole other level of craziness. Wishing you all the best and lots of sanity. ;)
