Friday's Top Ten

My top ten reflections on the A to Z Blog Challenge:

10. I posted every letter on schedule

  9. I visited and commented on a LOT of blogs every day

  8. I loved learning about new people, places, and things

  7. I loved playing games with words

  6. I didn't get an A, but I learned I'm a better code solver than I thought

  5. I still love Stormy

  4. I made many new friends

  3. I had a boatload of fun

  2. I did the first two weeks while also doing a blog tour for SOLOMON'S COMPASS

And my #1 top reflection on the A to Z Blog Challenge:

  1. I am no longer an A to Z virgin in any way, shape, or form

Thank you, Arlee Bird, for your awesome creative vision
that has become
the best blog challenge ever!

And now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to collapse.

I'll be around today and over the weekend, but then I'm taking next week off.

I'll be back here on Monday, May 13.

See you then!

Sounds like your first Challenge was a success!
Stormy just rocks.
My May is rather full, but I'll be taking time off near the end of it.

Alex - And I'll be seeing you on May 20.

Em-Musing - I intend to do just that :)

Delores - I think I technically started on my break already. I haven't done much since Wednesday LOL!

Yvonne - Great! And thank you.

Misha - I think all A-Zers need a break!

Nick - I'm glad. I had fun thinking up your A-Z words. Your story was awesome.

Clarissa - I'm always amazed by what people can do, especially when they believe they can't.

Summer - Thanks. New friends are always good. Sometimes they become old friends, too ... and those are the best!

It was so great to meet you. I can't comment on your other blog, so I will visit here. I'm sorry but I will not sign up for Google+, why the heck they think they need my birth date for I don't know. It's just too much. But I now have this blog in my side bar so I can keep up with you.

I need an umbrella drink on your beach, Carol!

Enjoy your time off. You've earned it.

J.L. - I finally found my brain this morning. It's still a little mushy.

CATachresis - I'm going to pretend to be a cat and nap in the sunshine :)

M Pax - Me, too!

Jeff - Thanks. I intend to.

You know the theme song from the show FRIENDS? There is a lyric in there about being stuck in second gear. That is how I have felt since about letter "T." I was writing my posts by the day at that point. Now, I am just one frazzled nerve. I cannot post *anything,* am behind on everything in my actual life, and feel completely strung out. I don't blame you at all for taking a week off for yourself. Cheers.

Congratulations on a successful A to Z:) It was lovely meeting you!!!

I'd love to be able to do this challenge one day. Except that it always takes place during finals month.

It was fun getting to know your characters! Enjoy your much needed break!

Julie
Congrats on completion of the A - Z Carol!! I don't see how you do it. Next year I think I will try it :)
You did a great job. I loved your posts. Learned more about your characters too.

I'm with you, collapsing sounds like the thing to do.

Congratulations on the successful finish! I might have to dive in next year, but I'm still recovering from 2011's AtoZ.
You were one of 4 bloggers who commented on all 26 of my A to Z posts! YOU ROCK!
Enjoy your break.
Carol Kilgore said…
Robin - I pre-wrote all posts, but changed a couple along the way. I did no fiction writing at all, and I'm way behind on life. Loved meeting you, too!

Shelley - Yes! Check that one off the list :)

DWei - Do not attempt during finals month!

Rinelle - I can hardly wait!

Julie - Thanks. I think all AtoZers need a break.

OE - If you do it, write all posts ahead and preschedule them. Keep a backup copy in case Blogger has a hiccup.

Teresa - I loved your posts, too. And learned more about you!

Milo - I can relate to that feeling :)

Michelle - Yours was so fun! You rock, too!

I am SO impressed with how friendly and busy you are. Here I am only now commenting on your FRIDAY blog. I am so out of it.

And again, Carol, thank you in all your touring and blogging (I could never keep up like you) to help me so much with my blurb. I'll email you my latest in a couple days, if that's okay with you.
I can understand why you're ready to collapse. You've been busy! Enjoy your well deserved break.
You did very well. Good for you,

Maria
