Cheers, Cavanaugh!
I'm writing this on Sunday, November 25, and it's scheduled to post Wednesday, December 12. A guest blogger is already scheduled at the Tiki Hut on Monday, December 10. I'm telling you this because most people will post on Monday, and I'll be reading many of them.
I want to know myself - and I want you to know, and Alex to know - that what I'm writing today isn't influenced by the words of others.
First I want to thank Mark “The Madman” Koopmans, ”Marvelous” Morgan Shamy, Stephen “Breakthrough” Tremp, and David “Kingpin” Powers King, for coming up with this stupendous idea to let all of us tell Alex what we really think of him - LOL!
So now ... on to the fun!
What does Alex look like?
I have it straight from the Photo Fairy that this is Alex's exact description ... oops, now I'm out of words!
Who could play Alex in a documentary?
Josh Hartnett or Kyle Chandler
Who does Alex remind me of?
The big brother I always wanted.
Flash Fiction
"This Old Thing?"
"Cavanaugh! Where's the Ninja IWSG?"
An enemy
round whistled overhead and exploded a hundred yards behind them.
"Why
that old robot?"
Rocks and
earth rained down.
The major
raised his head. "No one will dream it's armed with the latest Cosbolt."
"Sweet."
Cavanaugh bolted and returned with the three-foot robot.
They
activated the timer, and Ninja headed toward the enemy.
Cavanaugh
squinted. "From here, Ninja looks like my guitar."
Ninja swiveled.
Its guitar-like neck lowered, pointed in their direction, and fired.
From the
rear.
The
Cosbolt rocketed toward the enemy and detonated.
Cavanaugh
pumped his right fist. "Ninjas never die."
Dear Mrs. AJC,
I don’t know your name, but I know without doubt how awesome you are. Thank you for supporting Alex in his creative endeavors. It means so much, and I know it isn't always easy. You rock!

Too bad you ran out of words before revealing the first answer. ;)
Linda G - Alex is a great guy.
Liza - Alex deserves a lot of yays!

The big brother I always wanted."
So sweet, Carol. :)
J.A. - Cool. And thanks.
Johanna - Seems more than one of us think along those lines.
Linda J - And so true. I was the oldest in a family of girls. So a big brother was always out of the question.
Him and Arlee Bird are so popular in Blogland.
Yvonne.
Yvonne - Thanks. Yes, they are popular bloggers.
Carolyn - Thanks :)
Wonderful tribute. Alex has touched so many, every blogger out there should've posted for this blogfest.
Stina - Part of being a female, I suppose :)
Lee
A Faraway View
Lynda - It's a message from the heart. Live In Handyman's support is crucial for me, and I know there are times he wishes I was less involved with my story and characters.
Helena - You could be right on the money with that assumption!
I almost signed up again for the cover reveal. No, I have it in my calendar already.
