Friday's Top Ten - Oh, How I Miss You Blogfest
Oh, How I Miss You Blogfest
Hosted by Andrew Leon, Matthew MacNish, and Alex J. Cavanaugh
I really wanted to participate in this blogfest ... it's all about letting our blogging buddies know how special they are. But the date fell on a Friday, the day I reserve for the Top Ten.
What was I to do?
Duh! Read on and pay attention. There may be test ...
The top two bloggers I miss and why:
Carrie at Carrie On Carrying On
I love Carrie's easy style and the way she writes about her home and family. I also love the Adventures of Roz and all Carrie's awesome photos. Sadly, Carrie is experiencing some health issues.
Take care of yourself Carrie, and hurry back to blog world.
Elspeth Antonelli at It's a Mystery
Elspeth is taking a sabbatical from blogging to, actually - you know - write! Kudos to Elspeth, but I miss her wit and snarky humor :) Most of all, I miss her sheep. Sigh.
and
The top two bloggers I WOULD miss if they stopped blogging:
Elizabeth Spann Craig at Mystery Writing Is Murder
Omigosh! I learn so much from Elizabeth's posts. And from her guest bloggers, too. I don't always comment there, but I nearly always read. I've been following Elizabeth almost since I first started blogging. BONUS ... She writes cool books, too :)
LD Masterson
What can I say? She's funny, she's sweet, she makes me laugh and go aww all in the same blog post. To top it off, she's an all-around good person. I miss her posts when she goes on a break, so I know I would miss her if she stopped blogging.
and
I'm stretching the rules a teeeny bit ...
The #1 blogger who better never stop blogging, lest I send Vinnie and Joe Bob to convince him otherwise:
Ninja Captain Alex J. Cavanaugh
No. Words. Necessary.
Did you pay attention?
Here's the test.
How many bloggers are listed above?
How many explanations or lack thereof are stated above?
What is the total of bloggers and explanations or lack thereof?
Ta-Da!

Wonderful list. I picked Alex as well for the "miss if he stopped" catagory. This is a great blogfest!
I'd miss Elizabeth as well. She was one of my first followers.
Have a great weekend!
Alex - I sent them a text :)
Stina - It was HARD choosing!
Teresa - Thanks.
Dez - A few of my active followers have been around since the beginning for me, too. I'm coming up on the four-year mark. I love new and old alike :)
Happy Friday, Carol!
Em-Musing - Writing time is often scarce around the Tiki Hut.
Isis - Yes! Good to see you :)
L.G. - I can relate to the grudge thing, LOL!
Susan - Wouldn't that be wonderful!
Lee
Tossing It Out
.. great selection - cheers Hilary
VR - I had to count more than once :)
Jennifer - I thought it was a cool idea, too :)
Ella - Thanks! Probably a tiny bid OCD, too :)
Emily - She's very cool :)
And great list... really... it's amazing how attached we can get to some of our bloggers! :)
I miss Elspeth and her sheep, too. I hope she's getting gobs of writing done. Occasionally, she posts on Blood Red Pencil (think she's on a rota there?)
Arlee - Same here for me.
Hilary - I agree about sad. Ciara Knight posted about Jane Sutton. Made me cry.
Suzanne - Very cool :) And yay Alex!
Morgan - *blushing* Thanks for such kind words :) We do get more attached to some. Just the same as we do with real life friends.
Elizabeth - Aw, shucks :) I hope Elspeth is getting lots of writing done, too.

And I've been blogging for almost eight years. Only other person who'd been around that long that's still around is Jay Noel.
Anna - No worries :)
Nutschell - I think so, too.
Diane - Eight years! I'm humbled.
Susan - I did have a hard time! This blogfest was more difficult than it sounded.
Great choices! :)
Have a great weekend.
J.L. - Do it!
Julie - Thanks.
Shannon at The Warrior Muse
And yes, Alex is amazing.
Raquel - Thank you. That means a lot. I love your blog, too.
Shannon - Great! Enjoy :)
Helena - Totally understand about life getting crazy.
I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Brenda Kay - This blogfest has been fun! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, too :)
Cherie - We'd all freak and talk about him for weeks :)
Ciara - I've seen them, too. I also saw Jane mentioned on a few other blogs.
Damyanti - Now that's faith! Nice to meet you.
LOVED your poem! Nicely said.
I bent the rules a bit too... How could one possibly chose only 3! Impossible!
Elizabeth - I liked YOUR post!
But yay for these fab bloggers and especially. The. Cap'n. Ninja. And. His. Hot. Tamales! Ahem!
Take care
x
Michelle - Cool!
Julie - You, too, Julie.
And a good one! Your Friday's Top Ten!
