What Day Is This?

Here in the States, today is Columbus Day. In honor of Christopher Columbus, his ships and crew. Thanks for finding us!

For our northern neighbors in Canada - Happy Thanksgiving! Save some pumpkins for us, eh :)

And for two of my blogging buddies, today is Release Day! I wish you both the very best of luck with your novels :)

Indigo Eady is NOT clumsy. At least, not until she moves to Sabrina Shores. Can she help it if sheā€™s off-kilter since moving to a modern day medieval village in England? Who knew it would be teeming with afterlife? Ghosts are coming out of the woodwork: Franny Bishop, an interfering nineteenth century madam; Hannah, a technology-loving seventeenth century serving wench; and Cleo, a prissy ghost cat. Not to mention Bart Bagley, the murder victim!

With the overwhelming psychic overload, it's no wonder Indigo somehow manages to bowl Badger over every time they meet. She is becoming hazardous to his health, not to mention her own. If it werenā€™t for the murdered spirits and interfering ghosts vying for her attention, her life would be so much easier!

To top it all off, why did Badger have to be so cute? That is no doubt the problem. Mix needy dead people and very-much-alive cute guys, and you have the ingredients for a world totally out of whack. Even so, sparks fly in more than one direction!

But who has time for romance? They have a murderer to catch, and time is running short as the body count mounts.

Ever have big plans for "some day?"

Too often 'some day' never comes. But Gwen's did. She woke up one day and realized that 'some day' had arrived.

She quit her corporate job, moved to the mountains and began to write. Crazy, isn't it? But even crazier? Is getting to the end of your life and realizing that your 'some day' is too late.

For seventeen-year-old Abigail, one rash decision leads to an unexpected chance for redemption. At V'Salicus Academy, a unique institute where she trains to become an agent of heaven, she struggles with the pain of her past, the changes of the present and accepts a loveless future until her path ā€“ and heart ā€“ crosses with Basilā€™s.

Basil's off-chance slip of the tongue binds him to a life of servitude to the Devourer, the master of hell. His existence has no upside until a chance meeting with Abigail brings new perspective.

Keeping the truth of their present lives from each other brings disaster when secrets are brought to light and the life of Abigailā€™s mentor is put on the line.

Can Abigail and Basil save her mentor and salvage their love amid the chaos? Or will they lose it all, destined forever to NEVERLOVE?

Reading and writing have been lifelong passions. It was around the time I gave birth to my forever-love, nicknamed Chipmunk, that I really took writing seriously. After all, how could I teach my child to follow her dreams if I hadn't tried myself?

As a YA fantasy/sci-fi reader and author, I favor the magical, mysterious, the darker side of life...even harbor a secret fright for things that go bump in the night.

NEVERLOVE is a special project spawned from a blog-challenge-turned-blog-opera, the Abby and Basil affair. It is the first in the Shadow Jumpers series.

That's it from me.

Get in touch with your creativity, treat your muse to a massage, and have a great week.

See you Friday!
