It's So Good To Be Home!
OMG! I'm like a smiling, wagging puppy rolling over to let my bloggy family rub my tummy. I am so happy to be back here.
A full month is entirely too long to stay away. I've kept somewhat connected at Facebook, but it's far from the same. I have missed every single one of you!
While I was out, I accomplished a lot - the whole purpose. Now I'm back and ready to rock!
Writing-wise I worked on three projects. I'll talk more about those in a later post. I wanted to come back with a short, snappy post today, but due to circumstances beyond my control that's not happening.
You know I tidied up here. One of my followers let me know she's having trouble viewing parts of the updated look. Everything looks right to me, so I asked my techie friend to take a peek. She sees it the same way I do using a variety of browsers.
This particular problem instance involves Firefox, so I'm especially interested in Firefox user comments. But no matter what browser you use, if you have any issue with the the way things appear on your screen, please let me know. I may not be able to fix the problem, but I'll try.
What you should see at the top is Under the Tiki Hut, tabs for the pages, and the header photo.
Then the actual meat of the blog follows. I now have three columns instead of two. A left sidebar, the posting area, and the right sidebar. Things in the sidebars should be contained within the sidebars. Nothing should lap over into the posting area or fade off into the background sunset. Beneath the post area and sidebars are the Blog Archive and Labels.
As I said above ... if you see anything different from this, please let me know.
And make sure I didn't scrub you from any of the blog rolls. Some of you have let me know this already. Thanks!
There are three blog rolls - one on the left and two on the right - and your link should be in one of them if you're a somewhat regular commenter. If you've been following me for a while, you're probably on the left. Newer followers should be on the right. This is not a political statement :)
If you'd like to share your links for the Writers' LIKE ME Project, you may do so at any time. The initial response wasn't all I had hoped, so perhaps this isn't as good an idea as I originally thought. I'll continue to mention it once a month or so in hopes that more of you will leave your links and tell your writer friends about it. The page will stay up at least until the end of the year. Maybe it will get going yet of its own accord. If not, I'll let you all know if I decide to take it down for lack of interest.
That's it for me.
Oh! Almost forgot.
I'm now blogging only two days a week - Monday and Friday. Although there may be a Wednesday from time to time, it won't be the norm. I'll let you know in advance.
How about you? Catch me up! What happened with you during September?
See you in the comments, on your blogs, and back here on Friday!

I use Firefox and have no problem viewing your blog.
OMG! Is September already over. Where did it go????
Welcome back!!
Breaks are almost always a good thing, help to recharge.
Stina - September was a blur :)
Jennifer - Great!
Anne - Felt like two minutes, except for really starting to miss blogging a couple weeks ago.
Bish - Fully recharged now. I needed it. Bad!
Karen - Good to see you and everyone!
Pam - I use Chrome, too. Love it :)
Delores - OMG! I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. Take care of yourself during all this - they need you.
Summer - Thanks. Missed you, too :)
Sia - It was productive, but it took a couple of turns I hadn't expected.
My Wordpress ID on the other hand? Not working so great. Blogger is apparently punishing me for jumping ship. :)
I use Chrome, or sometimes Safari, and it looks great on both.
I'm using Foxfire right now (I also use IE and Safari) and I don't see anything wrong. Hmm. The mystery.
Thanks for coming back to us!
Yvonne.
Shirley - Once I got started, I realized I had way more to do than I thought.
Linda K - You're on a great roll! Have fun on your blog tour :)
Johanna - Me, too!
Dez - I hope autumn will be productive, too. For all of us!
J.L. - Yes, I have much more to get done. It never ends.
Linda G - Thanks!
Yvonne - Missed you, too.
L.G. - I think two days will be plenty.
LD - No worries :) I knew what you meant. And I usually forget to say something.
Morgan - Happy to be here, too! I wish I had more energy :)
I know that I still need to collect the book... I haven't forgotten...
Your website looks fantastic on my end.
Nice, clean blog!
Michelle - No worries. Good to see you!
Medeia - Thanks. It was a much-needed break.
Ciara - I totally understand that. November and December are so hectic. I may grab a week in there somewhere, too.
Everything looks fine to me (Chrome). I like the three columns.
Southpaw - Cool :)
Nas
Mary - That's the same problem the other reader has. But no one else. Any ideas?
Everything looks great, but I use Explorer.
I had gallbladder surgery last week. Does that count as a momentous event? ;)
Laura - OMG! It would be MONUMENTOUS for me for sure. Hope it wasn't too bad, and I'm happy you're well enough to blog! Take care.
I use firefox and it all looks fine to me.
Shannon at The Warrior Muse
Lynda - Thanks!
Shannon - So glad :)
Rula - Thanks! Good to see everyone!
Welcome back! September was back to school month for me so it was pretty much pure chaos. Fun, but Chaos!
I worked, did some writing, and just enjoyed life and the last summer days. :)
