We have a chihuahua living down the street from us. He chased my terrified 10 year old the other day, after the dog managed to jump over the gate!!!! My poor son tripped and scrapped the skin off his arm. I don't think he's a big fan of chihuahua's anymore.

My husband would have to correct you. He says that firemen work on trains and firefighters work on fire engines and trucks. He's picky.

Stina - Like almost any breed, some can be terrors. One lives behind us. She's a tiny sweetheart, but she rules my two 70-pound herding dogs with an iron paw.

Linda G - LOL! I believe it.

Clarissa - The ones I know aren't afraid of anything.

Heather - Laughing. I learned a lot about firefighters while doing research for In Name Only - where they are all called firefighters, btw. On FB, I decided to use FireMAN because there will be no photos of women firefighters, and I did want to highlight the 'man' part. So no worries :)

LR - I think it's called small dog syndrome. Or something like that.

We had a chihuahua when I was growing up. She took on a German Shepard who dared approach my mom. Very effective attack, too. Came in swiftly and silently from behind, between the Shepards rear legs and straight up. My brother said she was fighting dirty but hey, when you're outsized...

My chiweenie, Violet, is definitely more chihuahua because she dreams all those dreams. Especially: We play by my rules. Bugsy, on the other hand, not so much. Very enlightening. :)
