Amen!

You know, if you go for the dark chocolate, it IS relatively low fat. And even good for you--it's chock-full of antioxidants. :)
I'm with ya sister.

T

PS I need to eat something.

Well, yeah! You forgot the sweet rolls though...
Slamdunk said…
I hear you Carol. All but #1 is something that I seek out regularly.

Good list. The ice cream I eat is low calorie and low fat (Frozen yogurt). I also wish berry cobblers were low calorie! But, the one I make definitely is not.
VR Barkowski said…
I'd put fried chicken first, but chocolate runs a close second. :)

Why isn't science working on THAT?!

AMEN! Now I know what my muse has been doing at the beach. It's eating all this yummy "low calorie" food you've got!!
Carol Kilgore said…
Linda G - So true about dark chocolate, but I didn't know it was lower in fat content. COOL!

Teresa - I need to eat something, too :)

Laura - You can eat the sweet rolls! I'm more a salty, savory person. Live-In Handyman has the green thumb and sweet tooth around here.

Slamdunk - Chocolate is good for you :) Linda G says so.

Janet - Live-In Handyman loves berry cobbler.

Despite the fact that they're not low fat or low calories, you should eat peanuts, guacomole and enchiladas without any guilt because they're so good for you!

I can tell a healthy gal when I see what she wishes for. I don't even dare wish for these foods anymore. :)
Or a combination like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
Elspeth Futcher said…
Yes. And if you eat them standing up it's negative calories. Happy Weekend!
Carol Kilgore said…
VR - Really good fried chicken is hard to beat.

Luanne - Good question. They can send rockets to space and put men on the moon. So why not, indeed!

Linda K - I wish it were low-cal!

Johanna - I have been hearing rumblings of peanuts being healthy. In moderation. And guacamole has that good fat. But I didn't know about enchiladas. Yummy!

Manzanita - I'm a food slut :)

Alex - Exactly!

Elspeth - My chairs shall become firewood forthwith :)

Defo nuts, chocolate and ice cream for me, and biscuits! :)
Carol Kilgore said…
Clarissa - My job was to identify the targets. Someone else has to do the rest :)

Nezzy - Aren't dreams great :)
Liza said…
Can we add, baked potatoes, onion rings, fried clams, hot fudge, and avocados?
Carol Kilgore said…
Anna - Defo nuts? What are those? I think we must call them something else here. Biscuits - love them loaded with butter. Sigh.

Liza - Yes to all!
BECKY said…
Oh yeah! I'd like to add just about anything baked with sugar in it....cakes, cookies, etc. AND I LOVE lasagna! And, please add to your list...PIZZA!
I second that.
Great list,

Yvonne.

So many goodies there, but the enchiladas are the thing that jumped out at me the most. I LOVE Mexican food and enchiladas are my favorite. I'm going to have to go to the Mexican place near here this weekend and get some now.

Have a great weekend! :)
Carol Kilgore said…
Becky - Oh yeah...pizza!

Yvonne - It's now a done deal. Who's going to find someone to make it happen?

Julie - Enchiladas are a favorite of mine, too.
M Pax said…
Dark chocolate is. :) My favorite.

I hear you on those other things. Any kind of pie should be low fat and low calorie.
There's calories in chocolate?
Oh. It all makes more sense now.
:)

Carol Kilgore said…
M Pax - My thoughts, too :)

Heather - LOL!
Christine Rains said…
I whole-heartedly agree! I always wanted a synthetic food maker like they had on Star Trek. You could order anything and have it have no fat or be nutritious.
Carol Kilgore said…
Christine - As long as it tasted the same as the real thing, food from a synthetic food maker would be awesome!
LR said…
Oh yes I agree they all should be low-calorie/low-fat. Especially mac and cheese.

Wish caesar salads and brownies were low-calorie/low-fat too.
Ciara said…
Love your list! Yep, I think dark chocolate should be a food group.
Golden Eagle said…
Absolutely with you on ice cream. :)

Hope you're having a great weekend!
Carol Kilgore said…
LR - Me, too...about Caesar salad and brownies :)

Ciara - Maybe we should lobby for it!

Golden Eagle - Wonderful weekend so far! Vanilla :)
Emily R. King said…
CHOCOLATE! And may I add butter to this list? :)
Carol Kilgore said…
Tracy Jo - I should have added beer, too. Beer is a food, right?

Emily - Yes! Real butter, too. None of that fake stuff.
You listed many of my favorites, but we're tied for #1 ! Julie
Talli Roland said…
What? Lemon meringue pie isn't low-fat? Who knew?
Carol Kilgore said…
Julie - I'm not surprised :)

Talli - I couldn't believe it either, LOL!
Old Kitty said…
Chocolate is so low fat and zero calories and packed with vitamins and minerals and is an essential food item in my book!! Yes it is!!
LOL! Take care

Tami Brothers said…
Yep, definitely hungry. :)

I agree about the chocolate. I think it is definitely #1 on mine, too.

Tami - See above, LOL!

Nas - Lots of commenters think the same way :)
Arlee Bird said…
You mean they aren't low fat? Well I don't care. I don't need no diet anyhow. I'm going to eat all of those--in the same meal.
