Friday's Top Ten
Top ten things I learned from my dogs:
10. The pack leader stands tall and maintains control
9. Live in the moment
8. Play time is absolutely necessary
7. So is family time
6. Be honest and fair
5. Praise others for jobs well done
4. Don't bite the hand that feeds you
3. Barking accomplishes nothing
2. Never underestimate the accuracy of the Sniff Test
And the #1 thing I learned from my dogs:
1. Wag your tail when you're happy

Value all work and pretend you are not embarrassed by the goofy human following you around scooping up your waste.
Have a great weekend. My spoiled lap dog and I will be curled up on the couch avoiding the snow.
Have a great weekend!
Linda G - Smart enough to make us work for them :)
Linda K - It's their favorite thing.
Joanne - We certainly do.
Slamdunk - Funny!
Tracy Jo - I think so, too.
Luanne - One of ours will literally do anything asked if he thinks there's food involved.
Jennifer - Makes me glad I'm not a dog :)
LR - That's what I think!
Southpaw - And what better time to play than the weekend :)
Jenny - Love your avatar! Thanks for commenting.
Julie - One of my dogs is VERY loud. I learned that standing tall with a stern look and either crossing my arms or pointing a finger while speaking in a quiet voice works wonders.
Yvonne.
Laura - Thanks! You, too :)
Yvonne - I've heard that :)
Melissa - Woof!
Theresa - You will have a learning curve. But it will be worth it. Research different breeds. That way, even if you adopt you'll have some idea of overall temperament.
Helen - A lot more than made this list, for sure.
Melissa - Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
