Oh no, not #1!

Oh man...don't ever do that. Lick an icicle or a snowball but don't ever do THAT.
Slamdunk saidā€¦
Winter is not my fav, but I am all for your #3 and 35.

Lol No 1 is the best! :-D

My favourite is #3. Perhaps I'm just hungry.
Linda Kage saidā€¦
Aww. Now I'm not so disgruntled about being frozen right now. The cocoa sure looks good. My nephew tried the tongue on the pole thing once; it really does stick in cold weather!
Luanne G. Smith saidā€¦
Living in Ice Block Colorado this year, I have to say number five is my favorite with a side of number seven.
Linda G. saidā€¦
Love it! Especially the cactus. :)

Angela saidā€¦
I must say I never saw a snow cactus (not even an everyday cactus outside in our areas). My daughter always used to make snow pigs. But ooh, I enjoyed the cup of hot chocolate!
Melissa Ann Goodwin saidā€¦
ooh that last one ... no good can come of that! Loved seeing the 10 in pictures too - you always make Fridays fun.
Great pics! I'm glad to say my kids haven't stuck their tongues to metal poles! Yay! (Knocking on wood...)

Great pictures, I especially love the snowman cactus! And I'm now dying to get home and have hot chocolate and snuggle under a blanket. I'm a devout winter hater but you've almost convinced me to change my tune.

Happy weekend, Carol! :)

I notice a lot more people giving credit to their images lately. I should do the same. I used to live in snowy Michigan and can relate to these pics. Brings back lots of memories.
Carol Kilgore saidā€¦
Slamdunk - Not mine either, but this year it's been extremely mild :)

Misha - No spam filter! Yea!! Hope the photos made your heat easier :)

Clarissa - I know :)

Linda K - Yep. Boys - whatcha gonna do?

Luanne - So far we've had only a few cold days and nothing record breaking. Our orange tree has blooms. Shhh...don't tell the Weather Goddess.

I adore that cactus! When I move to AZ one day, I plan on using them as reindeer substitutes in Christmas displays. #1 looks painful!

Jan Morrison saidā€¦
love these...it is snowy and icy and cold here at last. I'm going to curl up with a mystery (Ian Rankin's newest) and some popcorn I think. The stove is stoked and I'll have to take the mutt out but other than that - it is a true blue Sunday.

Those are all charming photos. They make me miss snow, although the soup and hot chocolate are doable.

Have a great week.
Carol Kilgore saidā€¦
Holly - Thanks.

Jan - A perfect reading day :)

Medeia - I made myself miss it, too. Especially the sledding. Love that!
Stina saidā€¦
The last one is something my boys would do, especially if I just told them not to do it. My daughter is too smart to make that mistake. :D
Theresa Milstein saidā€¦
