Clever list Carol. Since I don't eat candy, I am the assigned candy monitor and certainly it is a full time job this year.

Okay, I'm stuck on number one now!! He, he!

I read somewhere that some kid donated all her candy to troops overseas. Geesh, made the piece of snickers stole from my toddler's Halloween basket taste like cardboard.

What is this leftover Halloween candy you speak of? There's supposed to be leftovers?
Laura Eno said…
Leftovers? We usually have to go buy more due to snacking on it beforehand. :)

Haha! Carol, this first one made me grin! The BEDROOM! :) I like it. Ahem.

There are enough people living in my house that candy doesn't last long.

Luckily my husband ate all the candy. Thank goodness.

Happy weekend!

Unless it's Hot Tamales for #10. That would really heat things up, but not in the desired way I think. Have a great weekend!

I like the milkshake idea. I also think it would be cool to batter the mini chocolate bars and deep fry them. I hear it's killer, on my thighs.

This is not a problem in my house. I have 3 teenagers. Keeping food of any sort around for more than a few days is problematic.

I'm dying for a milkshake now, yum. #1 cracked me up, LOL. #10 would be a crime!

Have a great weekend! :)
I'm with Julie, the milkshake is a great choice! The bedroom idea is the most fun, but a safer alternative might be the shower!

Ooooh! It is going to be an exciting Friday night with bedroom candy. :-) I don't know why but I got the giggles about "put it in a milkshake". Happy weekend!

LR - Husbands can be handy that way!

Julie - Might be a hot autumn night - LOL.

Emily - I forgot about fried chocolate bars. I've never had one.

Laura - Have fun!

VR - Of course you are :)

LOL, I love #1. For some obscure reason, we never have leftovers in this house...

Have a great weekend!
Carol Kilgore said…
Elspeth - Totally understandable.

Mason - Thanks! You, too :)

Julie - A Top 3 List!

Julie - I didn't think about the shower....

Alex - You're going home and looking for the candy, aren't you?

Tracy Jo - Giggles are funny like that :)

Shirley - The goblins eat it all :)

I am shocked and dismayed by number 10.

Holly - Toss no candy before its time.
You forgot put it in a casserole like we do leftover turkey.

:)

We can use this list here in CT. Halloween was just about cancelled for the kiddies this year, with the extensive outages and downed wires and trees :/ So there must be lots of bags of unused candy hanging around the homes!

I'm happy to see you're back online. What a wicked trick for Halloween.

They all sound pretty interesting. I think I'll just eat all the good ones, it never gets tossed away.Of course, I'm going to gain a few pounds.
Carol Kilgore said…
Janet - Probably all of us are finding a few extra pounds :)

This is the first year in a long time that I don't have any Halloween candy left over since I didn't buy any this year. But I'd never throw it away.
