Linda G - Cool.

Jan - First things first :)

Isis - Mmmmmmmmm...

Clarissa - Oh, yeah.
Love this list. Making a copy and handing to hubs. Taking off play tennis and replacing with dirt biking. Of course. : )

Yay for all that! funny, though, in my world my teen and tween are gone a lot and so when I am home, it's relaxing (heck, they sleep until noon, too). Where during the school year, I have to get them here and there... wrestle with homework help... no... it's easier in summer in my world.

Oh, sigh. It sounds heavenly. I look forward to those school days. Heck, I look forward to the day I can go to the bathroom by myself again!

Bonnie - Whatever works for you!

Laura - Gotta rebuild stamina :)

Stephen - So will I!

LR - I think August 26 is the last day. So another week. Hang on!

Mason - Yes!

Hart - Well, then...back to work for you :)

Linda K - Don't get a dog or it will never happen!

Bubble bath -- awesome! :)

Since I no longer have kids at home I'm not affected in that respect, but since my wife's a teacher there are other considerations. Maybe now I can finish my manuscript as well.

Works for me. This was always part of my "back to school" list when my kids were young. Freedom!

#9 definitely. If I never hear the Wiggles again, it will be too soon.

Yep, son started school yesterday. Summer is over. Time to get back to work -- after I enjoy the solitude for a day or two. :)

Julie - I totally get that!

L.G. - A new beginning for all :)
Awesome list! I have a feeling I'll be needing a pet to give me quizzical looks once my daughter starts kindergarten next year. This year she will only be going a couple hours, three days a week. Still, that amount of time seems massive right now!
I hope you get to accomplish your list!

Just don't drink too much wine during the day. ; )
What a perfect list! I love #10! Now both of my boys are away at school and the house is much cleaner and quieter. Could we trade? Good luck finishing your manuscript! Julie

Shannon - Babies grow up. The first short separations this year will probably be more traumatic than the Big K next year.

Theresa - Darn! How about beer :)

Empty Nest - I can always use lots of good luck. Thanks!
A bubble bath? Sounds wonderful!!

RaShelle - Positively decadent!

Karen - I'm closing in on getting my structured writing schedule back after a wild summer.

Late to comment, but I had to say I love your Friday lists. I really love the questioning look from the pet, LOL, because that's exactly what our dog does when the boys aren't around.
Carol Kilgore said…
Rula - I know...it's so sad sometimes. Others it's 'can I take a nap now?'
