How about SULTRY and Sweltering? Remember the movie with Billy Crystal and Danny DeVito--Throw Momma From the Train? Billy Crystal has writer's block because he can't get the right word for humid, muggy?

Clara - "Owen, you clumsy poop!" Nah, I don't remember that movie - LOL. I love the word 'sultry'.

Unless it's in a mug topped with steamed milk, I don't care much for hot in the morning. Or any time, for that matter. Here in western Canada summer has just barely arrived. We finally had sunshine today and I think it got up to 26oC (82oF) for the first time this season. I know it's been an inferno in much of the USA so I hesitate to complain. :)

I think you've about covered it! I don't envy any of the folks who are having to endure the oppressive heat wave of late, but I'll bet a lot of them would like to be having our Los Angeles weather right now.
