I'm waiting for green lawns, after the mountains of snow we're still working on melting. A coffee toast to Spring :)

LOL! Great list and best of luck with catching a leprechaun.
I've seen that green beer!

Little birdies have been chirping outside my window all day. So glad spring is coming...

Will have to find some green beer this St. Paddy's day. It's been a while since I had any. Do you think Dr. Seuss drank green beer?

Beer is good; green beer is just wrong. However, as the Irish say, a wee jar of the creature (whiskey) would be a nice idea.

Colette - I'm hoping for a Texas team.

Joanne - You've really been dumped on. Our grass is greening up.

Summer - I've been looking under every leaf :)

Alex - Me, too.

LR - The same here. Last year mockingbirds had a nest in the live oak outside my writing window. This year doves won the race.

Maryann -
Will you cheer me with some class?
Will you cheer me with your glass?
Will you cheer me with your beer?
Green beer, green beer
Hear! Hear! Hear!

Elspeth - Here in San Antonio, they dye the river green on St. Paddy's Day and have a riverboat parade by the Riverwalk.

Primarily St Patrick's Day is what you're saying. I never realized I was of Irish heritage until the past few years. Gives me more reason to celebrate I guess. I vote for corned beef and cabbage--I fix it every year for St Pat's.

Green beer is the funniest thing.

I may have to pass on the green beer. How about green cookies instead?
:)

Born and raised in one of the most (possibly THE most) notorious college towns in the country, green beer is definitely de rigueur for St. Pat's - lager only, please. And I've seen enough TV to know that leprechauns are trouble. After careful consideration, I think this March I'll go straight for the end of the rainbow.

#4 dogsled race reminds me of Terry Lynn Johnson's MG novel Dogsled Dreams. Very well written. I told her I'd review it today, so I'd better get going on it!

I look forward to Fridays and your always interesting list!!
March Madness-all of my friends are Tarheel fans and today, they're pretty happy.

I'd love to find the end of the rainbow. Hmmm, that sounds like a great title for a book....

Have a great weekend!

LOVE your Dr Seuss rhyme to Maryann! I'll have to go find some green beer. The leprechauns are coming over for poker tonight. ;)

Ah, March! Bring it on! Thanks for your kind comment on my blog.
I always look forward to St.Patrick's Day because I know spring is right around the corner!

Arlee - And your point is:)
March 17 'tis a wonderful day!

Happy Whisk - Same to you.

Holly - Looks weird, right?

Lydia - Pistacio!

VR - Smart woman. We should all learn to leave leprechauns alone.

Ann - Thanks. Hope you got the review done. I'll be over to check :)

Words Crafter - May you find many rainbow ends.

Laura - Thanks. Must keep the leprechauns happy!

Clarissa - I hope everyone you love is safe.

Elizabeth - Only a few days!

Well, I can see where your head is at. Time to break out something green. I used to have a shirt that said, "I'm not Irish but kiss me anyway." But I'm married now.

Stephen - Smart man. Live-In Handyman, another smart man, lets me share his nice Irish name. I make the most of it every March.
Boston and Cambridge actually have off for St. Patrick's Day - it's called Evacuation Day - when the British were evacuated from Boston. Very convenient! Last year, I saw a Celtics game on St. Patricks' Day. It was awesome!

Happy March!

Teresa - Very convenient! They planned ahead - LOL. I love the huge parade in NYC.

Had to see your ten list. I like your March list. You named my birthday. When I talk about Scorpio, my rising is Scorpio and that dominates my whole self. St Paddy's Day is there for people to drown the gloomy days in green beer. I gottcha.
Love and peace.
Carol Kilgore said…
Manzanita - Happy Birthday! And Happy St. Paddy's Day! It's all good. And green :)

You know, I've never had green beer--might have to go find some!
