I so agree with all of those, especially #1. That one can keep you from doing a lot of things. But it's so much fun. Have a great weekend.

I'm doing your #1 right now. ;)
So true! Computer games and the TV tend to suck me in.

Coming in at #11, and just missing the list:

Responding to other people's blogs...

Oh dear, oh dear, Conda hangs her head in shame--I do all 10.

Yeah baby! :) My favourite way to procrastinate (after cleaning the kitchen floor, of course).

Have a greta weekend!

Mason & Southpaw - That's why it's #1 :)

Alex - I try not to play computer games because I don't know when to stop.

Michael - So glad you're doing #11!

Conda - I know that feeling too well.

Talli - You're supposed to clean it???

Is there a bug in my home? Since my dh does the laundry, I'll substitute, pull weeds, for that one. And Michael's right, commenting takes a lot of time. But it makes me smile!

You caught me red handed! I always blog to procrastinate! And play with the dogs, but mostly blog.

Very good list!

I just got back from #4. It took me a while, there were a lot of ingredients I didn't have.

I adore you. The plus about blogging is you ARE writing - but not on what you SHOULD be writing. It's kind of a win and a lose at the same time.
Carol Kilgore said…
Kathy - I'll never tell :)

Aubrie - Dog/Blog ... hmmmmmm

Helen - What time's dinner?

Elspeth - Yes, not what we SHOULD be writing. I adore you, too.

Guilty as charged! The one that I'd prefer that someone else always do is grocery shop! I'd write to my heart's content instead of walk the aisles. It seems I'm always in the store for something :/
I have #11 : read books on how to write, thus not having to write just yet.

And while I say that - there is a great book by Donald Maass, a successful agent who tells you how to THE FIRE IN FICTION {the title as well as the subject matter.}

He tells you when he tosses a manuscript down and when he leans forward in interest. And he gives examples from contemporary fiction to show you how it is done.

Check it out. You won't be disappointed, Roland

Reading books on how to write: I've read a lot of these, in the past. Don't read them anymore. I just read good books, and then write. But the Fire in Fiction sounds fascinating. I may look into it.

And I am starting to time myself with blogging. It's so much fun, I could spend all day on it and get nothing else done!

Joanne - Myself.

Roland - Titles. They usually give me fits. Thanks for the info.

Ann - It's way easy to get caught up in blogging.

Yes. I was just over Helen Ginger's found your blog, and now here I am. It is just so addictive. Must get back to work. After I play just a little bit more. And check my email. And have a snack.

Oh I agree with all of these - especially the last one. I think I will only be here a while, and then I hop and skip and jump... and ping - it's bedtime!

Laura - "Time" tested :)

JD - Good for you. Thanks for visiting and commenting.

Jayne - I'm happy you enjoy the Tiki Hut.

LOL! Yes to all. With two new cats in the house, #6 was big at my house last week.

I know, I know... But it is all so much FUN! And isn`t life about fun?
Carol Kilgore said…
VR - I know how that is.

Angela - It IS fun! You're so right about life.

Reading is a big distraction for me. I buy books to read, then think, "I really should read this first, then write." However, once I'm done, I've purchased more books that need to be read.

Then there's the gym! And gardening. And swimming. and Bike riding.

AND ATTENDING WRITERS GROUPS!!
Yes to all of the above, especially blogging. This is crazy...
Carol Kilgore said…
Shirley - Yes to all of those, too. How do we find time at all?

Patricia - There are days I agree.
