Award Day

Yesterday, VR Barkowski presented me with the Sweet Blog Award.

There better be chocolate in that box. If not, the bear's in serious trouble. I'll tear off his furry little ears, rip all that stuffing from his . . .

Oh. I'm supposed to be sweet. Sorry. Let me try again.

Ahem . . .

I love the sweet, adorable little bear with the cute round ears and pink tootsies. Thanks, VR!

The award wasn't given with any rules, but since VR passed it on to five bloggers, I'll do the same. Here are others who have blogs much sweeter than mine. Check them out, and you'll see I'm right:

LOL! I loved your uncensored version of dire threats to a bear with no chocolate.

Congrats on the award!

Helen - I live to make others smile :)

Jane - You're welcome. I haven't been able to make the bear give it up. I promised him honey. He checked my cupboard.

Ann - Aw. Thanks.

Congrats on the award. Is the box big enough to hold a nice bottle of something? There are days I'd skip the chocolate and go straight for the liquid refreshment. That didn't sound too sweet. Oh well.

Shoot! I knew I shouldn't have ransacked that box of chocolates before sending it on... :)

Congrats to all the deserving recipients!
Carol Kilgore said…
Elspeth - I have those days, too.

VR - So it was you! :)

Alex - Thanks.
Wow, Carol, thanks. Sweet Blog Award. That is SWEET! And you are super sweet to include me with these other fine bloggers.

There is chocolate in the box, right?

Only the sweeties get the award - LOL.
And if you can make the &*%^$ bear give it up, promise me you'll share. OK?

Oh how lovely! Thank you so much. What a sweet little bear, and chocolates too, how kind. Hang on... the box is empty! But wait! There is a magical replenishing button! (Of course). It is the award that keeps on giving. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this Award, Carol.
Do you know you have put me up there with three of my blogging heros? I couldn't have been more excited had I been nominated for the Oscars!

Thank you.
Carol Kilgore said…
Maryann - Thank you :)

Jayne - You wrestled the box away from the bear? I'm totally impressed. AND you found a Magical Replenishing Button? That must have been what the bear meant. He kept mumbling, "Mrrrb. Mrrrb." He was difficult to understand since his lips were sewn shut.

Rayna - You're welcome. Enjoy the limelight!

Congratulations on your award, Carol! I totally would go after that bear if he falsely advertised having chocolate... Thanks for sharing the linky goodness, too! Love having new stuff to check out. :)
