Award Monday

I know Mondays are writing days, but I'm taking charge here and pushing the writing post to Wednesday.

The reason is because Cassandra Jade at Cassandra Jade in the Realm presented me with the beautiful and very springlike Picasso Award last week. Now Cassandra hails from the Land Down Under where it's summer. But I'd say everyone up here in the northern hemisphere needs a good dose of early spring. So here it is:

Isn't it pretty?

The award conditions are that I have to tell you seven things about myself and pass the award to seven bloggers.

So . . . about me:

1. I'm not much of a morning person.
2. I have green eyes.
3. My dress and decorating styles are casual.
4. I love salty snacks.
5. I cry easily with movies and books.
6. My patience with whiney people is pretty thin.
7. I love to laugh.

Pretty soon, y'all will know more about me than I know about myself.

Now I have to pass this on to seven other deserving bloggers. I choose:

1. Angela at Letters from Usedom
2. Carol Burnside at Carol Burnside's Road to Publication
3. Mason Canyon at Thoughts in Progress
4. Conda Douglas at Conda's Creative Center
5. Karen Jones Gowen at Coming Down the Mountain
6. Maryann Miller at It's Not All Gravy
7. Journaling Woman

Happy Monday!

I love finding out more about you. I'm with you on crying easily at movies and books. Congratulations on your award and thank you so much for thinking of me. You are too kind.

Congrats on your award! I'm so jealous of your location. I'm actually writing a book that takes place just north of San Antonio and just south of Austin. We lived in Austin for four months a few years back and I love TX.

Congrats! That is a lovely spring-like award. Hopefully winter will cease quickly.

With two to four inches of snow predicted tomorrow, I'll take all the visions of spring I can. Congrats on your Award!

Mason - You're welcome :)

M.Gray - Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I love living here, too. Actually I live between San Antonio and New Braunfels. So if you need current information or a refresher on anything around here, just ask.

Laura - Let's all think positive thoughts about that.

Joanne - Me, too. And thanks.

Carol, you are right. These memes reveal things about ourselves which we haven`t known before! Very interesting, so I will go in me and try to find out more unknown qualities.
Thank you for your always so nice comments! (veri word is chlsacep - how would you pronounce that?)

What a lovely award. Thanks so much for passing it on to me. I am honored. :-)

I am more than ready for spring. Planted my onions and potatoes a week ago before the big snow hit East Texas. Hope they survive.

Angela - I'm looking forward to learning more about you. And I have no idea how to pronouce that made-up word.

Maryann - Maybe your root veggies were buried deep enough to be OK.

Let's all think 'SPRING!'

Very pretty award. And interesting info about you, Carol. It is fun to get to know our Web friends.

Congrats on the award! I'm also not much of a morning person and I agree about the salty snacks.
Carol K. thanks for the award, but this is eerie. I could say those same seven things about myself and people who know me would nod their heads. You're gonna make me dig deeper just to be original. LOL!

Joanne, you're lucky. We're expecting 6" on top of the 3' we're still digging out of. Some of the piles on snow along the highways are easily 10-12' high.
Thank you for the award! Whiny people? Very annoying. I hate it when I'm whiny lol! Now I'm off to check out some of these blogs you have listed, as they're all new to me.

Kathy - I like getting to know everyone, too.

Elspeth - Still more we have in common :)

Carol B. - Not only the same name, but alike in other ways, too. Yes, a bit freaky.

Karen - You're welcome. Hope you enjoy the other blogs.
Congratulations on the award. It's fun learning more about you.

Thank you, Jane. I've told so much about myself I'm going to have to start getting into the strange stuff before much longer :)
Thank you so much. Isn't that award delightful? We've had snow flurries allllll day on top of the snow we already have. I am ready for Spring. I will look at the award instead of out my window at the snow. Again thank you.

Me either on not being a morning person. I relate to most of your seven confession. We may be related.

Again thank you so much.

Congratulations on your award (it is very pretty).

I am the same as you on #'s 2, 4, 6 and 7.

But I am completely opposite of you on #1. I am a total morning person!

Thanks for sharing a little about yourself.
Golly, you're right, what an attractive award, and what deserving recipients. Congratulations.

Best Wishes Galen.

Helen - Too bad :)

Elana - Thanks. Mornings are why we have caffeine.
