In the meantime, I'll leave you with a few blooming photos.

Those are much nicer flamingoes than the plastic yard type ones I saw yesterday.

Beautiful flowers. Off to check out your other post.

I have flowers in my yard, but they are weeds.

What gorgeous flowers you have! I wish I lived where hibiscus wasn't such a delicate, have to spend the money annually to have them, sort of flower. My neighbor buys them, as she spends a lot of time by her pool, but I just can't justify the cost for a single year.
Wonderful late spring / early summer blooms Carol :)

Beautiful flowers. My clematis is going nuts right now. I love it. And the lupine! We're having a pretty good spring here for flowers. The right mix of sun and rain. :)

And congrats on that novel. Seeing it everywhere.

Alex - Live-In Handyman gets all the credit :)

Delores - Someone planted a whole flock at a house in our neighborhood several weeks ago. I think the owners were on vacation and came back to them LOL.

Robin - Thanks! I've just come back here from there :)

Mason - Cool :)

David - LOL! We have some of those, too.

Hart - Hibiscus is one of my favorites. Here they like lots of sun and lots of water. Ours don't always get lots of water, so they don't bloom as much as those that do.

OE - I don't tend them or they would die. Live-In Handyman has the green thumb.

L.G. - Clematis is so pretty. It doesn't grow here. Our spring bluebonnets are a form of lupine.

I guess I'll need to know what provoked that flamingo on the right. His feathers are in a twit.

Lovely blooms. Guess I'll have to find out what you're talking about and visit Your Daily Dose.

Happy Monday,

Gorgeous! We planted our annuals yesterday :)
What a fabulous flamingo!
Love the flowers too!

I love the flowers growing from the fern-like plants.
Carol Kilgore said…
Cherie - Me, too :)

EC - I thought about titling the post "See My Bloomers" or something similar, but I thought I may get banned from Blogger if I did :)

Lee - He's having a bad feather day :)

Jemi - We're already in the 90s here. I may put some vinca in the front. It's the one thing I can't kill.

Michelle - Thanks. I'd tell him, but he's already a little arrogant :)

Diane - I think those are called Pride of Barbados. I could easily be wrong.

Hey Carol,

What a blooming delightful post. It seems I am here and soon I will be there, yes over there at Robin's. When I get there I shall make mention of I was here and that means I could come back here and tell you I was over there and....

Gorgeous flowers. Me, I think my favorite flowers are irises, and they're blooming all over my neighborhood. I'm headed over to Robin's now...

Flowers are beautiful! What gorgeous colors.

I have hibiscus too (purple). So glad it's summer (almost) and everything is blooming. Yay

Nice flowers.
Love the flamingos. LOL
Carol Kilgore said…
Janie - Great line! I may steal it, LOL :)

Gary - You're everywhere!

Jo-Anne - Thanks. I love them, but Live-In Handyman is the gardener. I have a black thumb :(

Helena - On any particular day, my favorite varies between hibiscus, iris, daisy, and bird of paradise. I also love peonies, but they don't grow here and I rarely see them.

LR - Ooh, I bet your hibiscus is gorgeous!

Melissa - They stand on a cabinet in the corner of my office. And make me smile :)
Very nice. I especially like the shades of pinks and reds in that first photo.

You're rocking blogland with your book, Carol. I'm excited for you!

I love spring flowers. Ours were delayed because of the long winter. I thought we would never have flowers.
