Happy New Year!

Today I wanted to write about GOALS, but I'm not in the mood. See why goals are so important!

Nor am I totally prepared, except to say that for me, goals and guidelines are what keep me going. Without them, I'm toast.

I've been thinking about my 2013 goals for a good six weeks, and finally got around to finalizing them last week. I learned that I'm going to need to make changes to my daily routine in order to accomplish everything. Otherwise, unless more hours are added to our days, it won't be possible.

Since I'm actually writing this post before Christmas, I haven't figured out the best ways to gain the most extra writing hours. When I do, you'll know. And I'm letting you know ... thanks to some great engineering by Live-In Handyman, I have a tentative routine ready for testing. Yay!

I hope 2013 is a wonderful year for us all, and I wish all of you a very

Happy New Year!

Don't party too hard.

Stay safe.

I'll see you back here on Wednesday with guest blogger Sara Walter Ellwood. And Cera du Bois. One author, two names.

And you thought you had identity problems :)

If you would like to participate in the
cover reveal
for my new book,
SOLOMON'S COMPASS
on Monday, January 7,
please sign up here.
Thanks to all who help me get the word out!

Happy New Year Carol!

I've been looking at my schedule too. I need to rearrange blocks of time in the morning for writing and visiting blogs. I haven't got it down for testing quite yet but it's looking better.

Happy New Year, Carol. Hope it's your best yet.
Short and simple! I like it.
My goal will be to wake up in time for work on Monday. Sleeping in for the past week has been all so nice...
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, Carol, all the best in the writing business and lots of love in the family in 2013!

Sia - I'd planned to begin today, but Live-In Handyman is a bit under the weather. And the whole household is somewhat topsy-turvy because of it. You know how that is :)

Liza, Maria, Shirley - Thanks! All the best in 2013!

Alex - There's been a little sleeping in going on here, too :)

J.L. - I hope the schedule works, too. It does on paper, but that means little, LOL!

Delores - Cool :) I'll be sending out all the information either today or tomorrow.

Dezmond - Thanks. Same to you!

I have some goals I wish to achieve, wish you luck with yours.

Happy New Year,

Yvonne.
Happy New Year, Carol. As for me, not really celebrating tonight. My celebration is next week in Vegas! All week at the Mirage...now that's ringing in the New Year.

Yvonne - I wish you good luck with your goals. Happy New Year!

Michael - Oh, wow! I'll say! Ring it in good :)

I do fine with goals as long as I set them realistically and allow for a degree of flexibility. Much success to you in the coming year!

Happy New Year!! Goals are good. I'm looking for more dedicated writing time too.
Carol Kilgore said…
Jeff - My goals need to be realistic, too. But I usually toss in one that would be attainable if all the stars fell into perfect alignment. I always shoot for that - one day I'll make it :)

Old Kitty - Ooh, I have a sexy goal? I'm going to look for it right now!

CATachresis - Same to you and Austin!

Luanne - Let me know if you find the magic button that creates it :)

Goals? What are those? My yearly goal of recent years is to get to the next New Years in good health. If I can add some wisdom and wealth to that then all the better.

Have a great 2013!
