Yup, I can see myself having a fit if I got anything on your list for mother's day.

I knew a guy who bought new subs for his truck for his wife on Mother's Day!

Oooh, but Diet Book. Ouch.

Last year (my first mother's day), I told my hubby all I wanted was a card so I could collect a box full of all the mother's day cards through the years. I never got a card, but he did make breakfast!!

J.L. - I can see you throwing that fit :)

Linda - LOL...Men. Whatcha gonna do.

Haha, you said it. Now most any other book beside a diet book would be just fine, thank you ...

Happy Friday :)

Tickets to the Monster Truck Show!!!

Cheap cologne isn't a good idea but expensive perfume is--especially if appropriately packaged! :)

Joanne - Exactly.

Lisa - Yes!
Swiffer refills!!!
And no kitchen gadgets unless specifically asked for and even then you're pressing your luck.

Ha -- good list! I can't complain. My guys usually do a very good job!

LOL- Love the list I laughed about the shot gun- my mom would have loved it. She's been gone 8 years now this July. I hope you have a terrific mothers day and fantastic weekend!
Carol Kilgore said…
Alex - Don't. You. Dare.

Colette - Good for you!

Summer - My mom is gone, too.

Agreed. And also, no cookware. Unless the giver is going to use it to whip up an amazing dinner for the Mom.

I'll make sure not to give any of these to my mom . . .

Hope you have a great weekend!

LOL, I agree about the diet book. Although I might need one if I don't watch out.
Carol Kilgore said…
Lydia - I agree!

The Golden Eagle - Smart woman :)

Clarissa - Exactly.

Maryann - It's all the knowledge we collect. It has real weight. That's my story ... and I ain't changing it :)

Excellent list! A dangerous combo would be #1 and #2 together... ;)

Wrinkle cream made me laugh!

I'm the type of person to ask for a vacuum. Although people refuse to get me it. LOL

OMG! Hahaha! Definitely not the Diet Book, please! My mother would kill me. I've sent her flowers. ;-))

Happy Weekend to you my dear! ;-)
Carol Kilgore said…
Jennifer - Good for your people :)

Talei - Smart woman!
Great list, Carol. I ONCE had a husband who bought me a blender so I could make him milk-shakes. :-p
Carol Kilgore said…
Clara - Insert sound of a loud raspberry here in his 'honor' - LOL.

I knew my mother well enough not to buy her a book, even one with pictures. The year I did the latter, she wondered to my sister why I gave her the book. I said to my sister I thought Mother would like it. She really liked the purse my sister gave her.

So, whatever one makes of that...

Hope you're having a great Mother's Day!

Ann - Odd that your non-book-loving mother produced a writer. Life takes us on a wild ride.

Very good, especially the wrinkle cream and diet book.

LR - For sure.

Janet - No woman wants those for a gift.
