Welcome back! Your vacation sounds wonderful. Can you reveal your escape destination?

Ah, vacations are treasured events.
Looking forward to having one...sometime! Hope yours was wonderful. :)

You and I obviously don't take the same vacations. This is my vacation:
Family.
Children.
Crying children.
Complaining children.
Complaining family.
Sightseeing until the feet fall off.
Eating too much.
More complaining.
Aw, you're going already?
Finally home.
Washing loads of dirty laundry.
Back to routine.
Wishing I was on vacation.

VR - Galveston Island

Holly - This one was for sure.

Elizabeth - This was the best one in a few years. Totally relaxing.

Clarissa - LOL! The laundry is the same. I'm finally done after umpteen loads.

Bingo (my bad typing started to write bimbo... you'd say "What the?" I'd never say that, Carol)
It's a winner. I agree with every single one this time. I could have written the list.
I wish you happy Friday and a peaceful Easter.

Sounds good! But we never go to the beach, we like the mountains.

Oh that does sound like a great vacation. And of course you need a good book!

Manzanita - There are times I feel like a bimbo :) Hope your Easter is wonderful.

Mason - The vacation was great. And I'm happy to be back. I've missed all of you.

Arlee - Maybe you ARE on vacation ... :)

Janet - I like the mountains, too. But not as much as the beach. I'm pretty much a Coastal Woman.

WELCOME BACK! :)

I'm glad you wrote THE BEACH because that's exactly where a vacation is best spent. I love the sounds of the seagulls & the waves & the smell of the sea air & the happiness that pervades the shoreline.
Carol Kilgore said…
Colette - And I took along a very good book by one of my blogging buddies.

Lisa - Thanks :) The beach relaxes and energizes me at the same time. Just love it.

Happy Easter to you, too!

Glad to see your smiling face again.

Relaxing is #8 on your list here. It's #1 on mine these days. Relaxing and not worrying about whatever I can't do anything about!

Jennifer - Thanks - good to be back, too.

Ann - I'm not a big worrier, but I do need to relax and recharge every once in a while from piling too much on my plate.
