Is #1 a vacation for the humans or for the dogs? ;)
I'll take #4 anytime of the year!

I’ve never been dog sledding. There another storm where I am right now so staying hidden indoors works too. ;)

I lived in Laie, Hawaii, from 1975-1976. I would take this one again!! Loved it.

I'm amazed how you come up with these lists every week! You are talented in more ways than one hundred!

Have a great weekend.

Laura - Whatever works!

Holly - I was gonna add that :)

Ann - Thanks for the kind words.

Colette - Same here.
1)Great list, 2)I would like to go dog sledding 3)I'm frantically calling spring like I would a lost dog, "Here, Spring, come Spring, NOW get over here."

I'm with you; when is Spring again??

I'm having a vacation today. A lovely winter vacation in my home. It is snowing and I don't have to drive anywhere. I'm going to catch up on stuff and do a lot of reading. That's my favorite kind of vacation - no lineups - no security - just a cozy fire and a good book with clients rebooked to next week. Yay!

Jan's snow holiday, sounds like my kind of weekend. Carol, sending you warm wishes and sunny flowers.

It's snowing here again today, about 6 fresh inches :) It would be hard to leave for any destination with the winter we've been having here up north ... We're snowed in!!

I'm all over numbers 8-4. :) I love the snow, but after three in the last week and a half I'm ready for a bit of a reprieve. ;-)

I'd go with "the opposite hemisphere" because it's too awesome an answer!

LOL!

Personally, I'd vote for New Zealand. ;)-

Normally, I'd say Mexico since the whether in January is perfect. I'm just not so sure how safe it is these days.

I'm up for the opposite hemisphere, though!
Carol Kilgore said…
Teresa - So would I. Keep calling!

Linda - Not until March, officially. Maybe it will arrive early.

Jan - Sounds good to me :)

Happy Whisk - Oooh, thanks. Sunny here today, but COLD!

Joanne - Snowed in is fun for a little while. A very little while, for me.
Carol Kilgore said…
Kimberly - I've had that feeling before.

Lydia - Blushing :)

lbdiamond - One day I want to visit New Zealand. It's on my top ten travel list!

Mason - You, too.

VR - That's exactly why I didn't include Mexico. Sorry, Clarissa! I really love the country, though.

Loved the list. But I'll pass on all the very cold outside things to do.

Someplace where the snow is three feet deep and I'm trapped for a week sounds good.

One of my friends is about to leave for a dog-sledding snow-shoeing vacation in Banff. I, meanwhile, sit at home and look out at the rain. Drip, drip, drip.

Talli - London has had quite a winter this year.

Nancy - Some of them I like. Don't think I'd care for ice fishing.

Alex - Stock up on food, wine, chocolate, and firewood :)

Elspeth - Look on the bright side - no frostbitten toes.

Oh, I love dog sledding so much! I can't wait to go again. It was so worth all the hard work and the pulled groin muscle.

I'll settle for Florida! I'm ready for spring any time now!

I'm not a fan of doing anything that involves the cold so going south is the only way for me.

This dog sledding thing has been big of late since that book came out. I'm not big on the cold weather things so anything else sounds okay.

Talei - Any beach. Any where.

Terry - I know you are.

Hannah - Ouch!

Summer - Put them on your wish list.

Jennifer - I think most of us are.

Clarissa - You're in luck - there are still places south of you!

Arlee - Probably most of us would prefer warmth.

I'm nowhere near the environment for dog sledding, but I think it would be fun.

Have a great weekend.

I think it would be fun to go to that ice hotel in Iceland. Have you heard of it? If you Google it, you'll see some nifty images. Too bad it's so far away. My igloo in the back yard doesn't even begin to compare. ;)

I've always wanted to go to Hawaii.
Carol Kilgore said…
Medeia - Same for me.

MT - Duh, YES! I totally forgot about that. I saw it on TV. It would've definitely made the list if I'd remembered it. Thanks!

Happy Whisk - So-so for me. I like Hawaii Five-0, though :)
The Happy Whisk said…
Hawii Five-O, Carol you crack me up. So glad I found your blog.

So many great choices!

But, perhaps the opposite hemisphere :)
Carol Kilgore said…
Happy Whisk - Me, too!

Wendy - Yeah, I can go with that.
Conda Douglas said…
Well, Carol, I have a friend who has malamutes who would agree with you about the dog sledding!
Carol Kilgore said…
How cool! I don't think malamutes would do real well in Texas heat.
