The Interrogation Room

Here it is Wednesday again, and I really am wondering what to blog about. I haven't had this problem in a long time, and I'm not sure why it attacked me now.

So let's get better acquainted.

Tell us about yourselves. Sort of I'll show you mine and you show me yours.

I write mystery, suspense, and romance for the most part.
What do you write?

I live in San Antonio, Texas?
Where do you call home?

I like short and upbeat blog posts? Can you tell?
How about you?

People fascinate me, and I always want to know what makes them tick.
What fascinates you?

Answer some, all, or none.
I'm easy!
How about you?

I write mystery/romance (although it's technically categorized as romantic suspense, which bugs me but that's another rant).

My blog posts ramble, as do I.

I'm fascinated by anything new.

I write commercial/women's fiction, and I have a memoir manuscript as well. Plus I blog. People fascinate me, too, as does music, a second passion of mine along with writing.

I thought I wrote mystery, but because my emphasis is on character with barely a nod to procedure or whodunnnit, it turns out I write psychological suspense/ crime thrillers. Who knew?

I live in an Atlanta suburb. In fact, right now I live in TWO Atlanta suburbs.

Yep, love short blog posts. Reading and writing, although I'm not always successful on the execution end.

Everything fascinates me, that's why I'm so easily distracted. :)

I write mysteries. Sometimes they're funny. I like short blog posts. I'm also fond of short sentences. I live just outside Vancouver, BC. I like English history. I don't like math. The End.

I write children's, women's, historical, scifi, and spiritual, plus the odd attempt at romance and mystery.

I live in Oregon, lived in England: home is where the heart is?

I like short and upbeat blog posts, and comments.

And people, science and beliefs all fascinate me.

Terry - New things fascinate me, too.

Joanne - I will say that blog posts are so much easier than a novel. For me, anyway.

VR - Maybe that's why I'm easily distracted, too :)

Elspeth - LOL!

Sheila - I totally agree that home is where the heart is.

I write whatever demands to be written, but they all have a paranormal bent.

I live in FL now, but most of my life was spent in So California.

Thunderstorms fascinate me.

I write women's/commmercial fiction. Live outside Austin, Texas. I like to read short upbeat posts, but that's not always what I write.
Carol Kilgore said…
Laura - Ya think? LOL! Anyone who hasn't read Laura's work needs to head over to A Shift in Dimensions as soon as you leave here.

I love thunderstorms, too.

Helen - I think I write them because I have a short attention span :)

I live in Germany, but spent a year in Pennsylvania, where part of my heart still lingers.
I write letters to everyone, and mails, and my blog is a long letter to friends. No book yet, only an attempt to write my funny encounters down. Life is far funnier than fiction, I always find.
I am fascinated by new acquaintances, like you, Carol. Only you are almost an old friend by now.

I live in London, UK, although I'm Canadian. I write light women's fiction, and I'm fascinated my Red Twizzler and wine. Very fascinated. :)

I also write mystery, suspense, and romance.

I live in Monterrey, Mexico.

I like short and upbeat too.

What fascinates you? Dogs.

I write psychological suspense and short, character-driven literary fiction. Sorry, that comes out as a canned line now. but it's still true. lol

I suppose I call Indiana home.

I like a whole variety of blog posts. Just not ones that make people feel bad about themselves.

I'm a people person, too, but I'm also a philosophy guy. I think what really drives me is figuring the intersection within real life of the psychology of a given human and lofty philosophical ideas.

Yeah, when I post something on my blog, I just like it when people respond and interact. I don't have expectations for what the interaction will be like. :)

Angela - I feel as if we're old friends, too, Angela.

Talli - Oh yeah. Wine is quite fascinating :)

Clarissa - I have two sweet dogs who have awakened me at 4 a.m. the past three mornings. Maybe you'd like to be fascinated by them for a while?

C.N.Nevets - Welcome to the Tiki Hut. I'll stick a toe into philosophy every once in a while, but that's about it. I'm like you, though, in that I enjoy the interaction from blog comments, whatever direction they take.
It's fun learning more about you and your commenters.

I write mostly contemporary/women's fiction.

I live in Fort Myers, Florida.

I prefer short, upbeat blogs, too.

And I am also fascinated by people, so people watching is one of my favorite pastimes.

I write historical fantasy.

I live in the Carolinas, but I'm from New England and I lived in Turkey.

My blog posts are about Turkey and other Eastern stuff that inspires me to write. They're always short(ish).

Fascinated by the story behind the myth and all shades of the color blue.

I write poetry, nonfiction, and YA stuff. I live in Omaha, love short blog posts too. What fascinates me? Hmmm, too many things to list here!
Fun post! Nice to learn more about you too!

Jane - I love learning about everyone. Remember the nosy post - LOL!

Carolyn - You're a woman who's been around ... in a good way :) I'm happy you found your way to the Tiki Hut.

Lydia - It's a win-win.

Hey Carol - I write just about anything, but the common demon is romance. It'll be in there somewhere.

I live in Utah.

I love learing about people, too.

Short, fun posts are my fav as well.

I think you are so much fun, BTW!
Happy Wednesday. =D

I've a memoir about to be published. And I also like screenwriting, and just decided today that "for fun" and maybe ultimately profit! (smiley face) I'm going to try, again, an idea I worked on several years ago.

I think short posts are best, written against a readable background.

And I don't want to lose you, which is why I'm signing in again as a follower--BECAUSE a glitch on my blog forced me to delete it and start a new one. Didn't lose anything except followers! Which is just as well, since most so-called followers only check in once and never return. So now I'm going through the printout I made of my “followers” and re-signing up with the ones I want to keep following/the ones I hope will keep following me. My signature link here goes to my new blog that’s almost the same name and looks the same.

Alex - You're no fun :)
I have 'peeps' in NC - Charlotte and Sanford areas.

RaShelle - I think you're fun, too. The thing for me is, the story isn't complete without the romance part. That's what makes it whole.

Hart - Sometimes I ramble, too. Especially in first draft.

Ann - Thank you so much for commenting here. I've been to your site a couple of times this week and Blogger said it couldn't find you. I was starting to freak out. So glad all is well. I'll zip over in a few minutes.

Gail - I see you write humor :)

Joanna - When I stare at myself in the mirror, everything gets blurry, my eyes start looking like my grandmother's, then I start making faces. I think I'm weird.

Holly - Cookbooks with great recipes :)
