Yay for sandwiches. And Stephen Tremp's turkey tacos sounds great. In fact, I think I have some tacos shells...

I love coming over here every Friday and reading your top ten. Another great list today!!

I'm not a turkey fan, but even I can resist a turkey sandwich with homemade mayo on a fresh baked roll. Have a spectacular weekend!

I know of many people that regard the whole roast turkey dinner as simply the prequel to the sandwiches.

The turkey sandwiches used to be a big favorite for me when I was younger. Lately though we always have had such a houseful the turkey's always gone at the end of the day. This year we did stash away a secret cache of Honey Baked Turkey breast so maybe I'll have some sandwiches this year.

A big favorite I used to make if I had leftover turkey was turkey hash for breakfast the following morning--my wife and kids used to love my turkey hash.

Yeah for leftovers. On another blog, someone mentioned turkey tacos and that sounded yummy too.

WordsCrafter, Mason, VR, Elspeth - Four turkey sandwiches coming right up. VR's making the mayo :)

And Elspeth, I might just be one of those people. Just sayin' :)

Stephen - I've never made turkey tacos, but why not. They sound yummy!

Patty - Another gumbo girl.

Golden Eagle - And easy stir-fry.

Ann - There you go - your next two meals!

Arlee - Turkey hash sounds yummy, too.

Holly - They're all good, right!

I'm so contemplating making a turkey sandwich with gravy, a thin layer of stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Luckily that drool is on MY computer... ;-) Hope you had a wonderful holiday, Carol!

Oh yum, I'm getting fat just reading this. My favorite is Turkey A La King.

Great list.

And just yanking the meat off the carcass and munching it while standing at the counter is the easiest use ever.

Clarissa - I forgot about that. Thanks!

Terry - I do a lot of that...didn't know it counted - LOL.

I, too, would put sandwiches at the top of my list of what to do with leftover. There is, however, a soup I have made with the white meat and navy beans that is very good, too. I think it is white turkey chile. If I wasn't so sleepy I would look it up, but I really need to get off this computer and go to bed. LOL

Carol,
Every single one of those make my mouth water. As I read the list it reminds me of Forest Gump movie when the Dude from the south, Bubba, was telling Forest all the ways you can prepare shrimp!!
Hope you're in for a wickedly wonderful week-end.

I'm very happy that my daughter hosted Thanksgiving this year, but it means I don't have ANY leftovers. :(
Carol Kilgore said…
Maryann - I've made white chili. I don't recall using turkey, but I guess I did - or ground chicken.

Manzanita - Oh yeah, lots of ways to prepare shrimp, too! I need a good dose of wicked :)

Laura - Almost makes you want to go buy a small turkey breast, doesn't it!

I LOVE turkey sandwiches and turkey tortilla soup! Yum yum!

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, Carol!

I'm a vegetarian. Oh well. Can you do one for tofu? :)
Carol Kilgore said…
Talli - Me, too! Thanksgiving was wonderful :)

Aubrie - You probably have many more tofu recipes than I do. And I'm sure they're yummy!
