My World

Like every other writer out there, I live in two worlds. And each of those is divided further.

In my writing world, there's the me that sits and thinks and stares into space. Types a few words. Repeats.

Then there's the me that blogs and emails and belongs to groups and all of that.

And the me that receives blog awards :)

Thanks to Sharde at Realm of Randomness for presenting me with the From Me To You Award:

Sharde hosts a great blog with new fun stuff every week.

All I have to do is share this award with five other blooming ... excuse me, I mean blog friends. It's always hard to choose, but here we go:

Aubrie at Flutey Words . . .

Hannah at Musings of a Palindrome

Laura at A Shift in Dimensions

Patti at Patti Lacy Blog

VR at VR Barkowski

Then there's the me in the real world. Here are a couple of views from there:

A sunset viewed from the front of our home a few weeks ago:

And the furry boys, Shiner/Arf on the left and Wrangler/Woof on the right. We're doing some advanced training. Here they were practicing sit/stay:

Thank you, Carol! I'm honored that you thought of me in a bloomin' sort of way. ;)

Congrats on the award. The sunset picture was so lovely, and it looks like the dogs are learning their lessons well.

Laura - Of course. All my best friends are bloomin' :)

Hannah - Cool!

Maryann - That was the most gorgeous sunset I'd seen in a long time. The furries are coming along.

Love the sunset - I've been enjoying quite a few myself lately. And balancing the facets of our lives keeps things interesting. Being one-dimensional would be boring.

Patti - You're welcome.

Terry - I agree.

Lovely sunset. I've turned into a kind of petophobe, but I guess that comes from living in an urban area. I don't like pets in areas of close proximity to many humans. I used to enjoy having dogs when I was in a rural setting and they could just happily do their natural stuff out in nature and roam happily and go on walks with me. Ah, a boy and his dog.

Congrats on the award and thanks for sharing that sunset. The sky is a painting.

Arlee - Arf would be happier with a hundred acres to run. Woof would love it if he never had to go outside.

Clarissa - The sunset was too nice to keep to myself.

Jennifer - The furries are wagging their tails :)

Talli - You can borrow the sunset on your next gray London day.

Elspeth - Exactly.

Thank you so much, Carol! You've put a smile on my [slightly perspiring] face. I'm honored.

Gorgeous sunset, btw, and those pups are too cute. Not to mention talented. My guy is a master of the sit, but stay? Not so much... :)

Ann - Thanks

Alex - See above ... LOL

VR - HOT here, too. Our two have been working hard for a couple months. I'm proud of their progress. We still have a ways to go, though. We're halfway through the program. And there have been setbacks. But all is good.

Congrats on the award. I think most of us have more than two of us. The us that writes, the us that socialises online, the us that goes out with friends, etc.

Congrats on the Award, and to the recipiants! Did I tell you how much I love Arf and Woof? And as for the sitting and thinking and staring thing - oh yes. I do TONS of that - too much!
